MICHAL KAPIC DOMP
Michal became a Manual Osteopath & Certified Rolfer due to personal experience with sports injuries and the recoveries that followed. From playing soccer and tennis at highly competitive levels to working as a ski instructor every winter, sport keeps him active and has always been a huge role in his everyday life. With the intensity of high level sport, Michal contended with on-going injuries and subsequent surgeries. From his personal injuries, he realized the role of physical health education in the prevention of further injuries. In Osteopathy and Rolfing he sees a unique process of soft tissue manipulation that balances and realigns the body by releasing tension and strain.
Michal has worked internationally in multi-disciplinary health centers, consulting with clients in the Czech Republic, USA and New Zealand. In 2020, he opened a Multidisciplinary Clinic in North Vancouver where he sees his clients. Additionally Michal can be found presenting workshops throughout the Vancouver area.
Michal came with his girlfriend to Canada in 2009 to work for the Czech Olympic Committee during the 2010 Vancouver winter Olympics. Michal now considers British Columbia his home, and when not working, he will be skiing, mountain biking, golfing, paddle boarding or playing tennis on the North Shore, or travelling abroad.

My education and training started at Simon Fraser University in the faculty of health sciences where I earned my BSc. I then embarked on the four year Naturopathic medical program through the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine where I completed approximately 4,200 hours of classroom hours, and 1,200 clinical hours. I am determined to share my experience with my patients through a combination of service and education. I am a passionate healer, and dedicated to helping my clients move through a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional transitions as a team in the most efficient way possible.
In addition to my practice in Burnaby, B.C. I work within the physical medicine program at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. I instruct Physical Medicine, a second-year class which covers orthopedic conditions and assessment techniques. In addition to my role as an instructor I work as a teaching assistant for the third and fourth year osseous manipulation classes where students are taught safe spinal adjustment techniques. I also supervise osseous manipulation open lab hours 1-2 days per week where students come to expand and refine the skills they have learned during class hours.
In my practice I enjoy treating musculoskeletal/sports injuries in anyone from the full-time working weekend warrior to the athletes who want to get back to breaking their PRs. I want us to work together in determining the most effective treatment for YOU. We begin by going over your top health goals followed by a thorough medical history in order to gain an understanding of your day to day living and how it is affecting your health. With this foundation set, I will tailor a treatment plan aimed towards achieving your health goals. I use a variety of treatment methods including, but not limited to: soft tissue massage, spinal adjustments, acupuncture (electrical stimulation available), nutrition and exercise counselling, and non-pharmaceutical supplements.

DRAHOMIRA PALESOVA RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
Drahomira (Dada) believes that therapeutic massage is a great tool for helping patients with pain reduction, healing, and relaxation, which, in turn, leads to good health maintenance and injury prevention. She learned to look at the body as a whole unit and look for the origin of the problem rather then treating only the symptoms.
Drahomira Palesova RMT
Dada has learned a lot about her body through sustaining small injuries and then watching the healing process take over. She has found that her passion for sport has helped her to understand her personal needs for self-care and it is this appreciation of the benefits associated with the maintenance of general well-being that she would like to share with other sporting enthusiasts.
Enjoyment of the outdoor experience has been a big part of her life. She enjoys skiing, rock-climbing, mountaineering, hiking, running, paddle boarding. Her secondary passion in the field wellness lies is in nutrition and understanding body and mind as a whole complex.
Dada’s graduation from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2016 grew out of her keen interest in anatomy and physiology which started her down the path to massage therapy, and never stopped exploring further more to myofascial and visceral manipulations.

Dr. Craig Webb TCM
He’s a great communicator and listens to the concerns of his patients, offering assurance and solutions. What greatly aids Craig in his understanding of his patients is that he has himself, experienced a long journey of recovery from a serious car accident and other injuries in his past.
If you haven’t tried acupuncture therapies, please give them a try because they are safe and have no side effects. Acupuncture calms the nervous system and subsequently pauses the release of cortisol, our chief stress hormone. Too much stress and subsequent cortisol can be a cause of headaches, anxiety and depression, weight gain, heart disease, memory and concentration problems, trouble with digestion, and insomnia.
Dr. Webb currently splits his time working with us at Active Therapy Clinic in North Vancouver near Lions Gate Hospital and as the lead acupuncturist at the Burnaby Centre for Mental Health and Addiction for Provincial Health Services.
